Welcome to
St Martin’s Hawksburn

Your local Anglican church in the heart of South Yarra, serving the community since 1883.

Welcome in the name of Jesus Christ!

We warmly welcome everyone: single, married, divorced, widowed, straight, gay, bi, or “it’s complicated.” Whether you’re wealthy, comfortable, or struggling to get by, you belong here.

Families with wailing babies, tired parents, and curious toddlers are all welcome. Singers, growlers, browsers, and those just out of bed or prison are welcome too. Whether you’re devout, doubtful, or haven’t been to church in years, you’re still welcome.

We welcome the young, the old, the restless, the recovering, the tree-huggers, the gamers, the IT nerds, the dreamers, and everyone in between. Inked or not, pierced or not, confident or uncertain, you’re welcome.

No matter where you’re from, how you vote, or what you believe, you’re welcome here. Not because of what you’ve done, but because you’re human.

We welcome pilgrims, seekers, doubters, tourists, regulars, and most of all, you.
